erp4students – Online courses with SAP certification exclusively for students
How can I, as a student, get an original SAP certificate? The University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) now offers students from the Netherlands the opportunity to get the original SAP TERP10 certificate in cooperation with SAP University Alliances. Courses are held online, course language is English; students only have to appear in person to the exam location to take their certification exam. Exams are held in Essen, Berlin and Nuremberg. The exam location in the Netherlands will be announced on our website soon. Registration deadline for all courses is the 8th November 2009!!! The erp4students-program consists of e-learning courses which the participants can study in their own time and at a location of their choice on a “living” SAP system. The course participants are not required to attend the university; study work is carried out online from home; a PC with DSL connection to the internet is sufficient. The participant can set his own individual and independent schedule; all resources are available 24 hours per day (up to the last day of the course) even on weekends and during semester breaks. Tutors will provide intensive and individual support throughout the course. The courses are designed to prepare the participants for the SAP AG certification: Course participants of "Integrated Business Processes with SAP ERP (TERP10)” can even benefit from special rates for their certification exam at SAP at the Essen, Berlin and Nuremberg locations. The exam location in the Netherlands will be announced on our website soon. SAP AG issues the students with the original SAP C_TERP10_05 certificate after passing the exam; as of June 2009, 362 students in our program received an SAP certification in the German speaking countries alone! The courses are especially suited for students in degree courses of business economics, (business) information systems, computer science and engineering. Students with different degree subjects are also welcome to the courses, however, before registering it is necessary to discuss with the program management whether the knowledge base is sufficient for a successful participation in the course. What does this mean for you as a student? You already have the opportunity to gain precious skills in SAP, an asset for your future job prospects. The erp4students courses emphasize the application of know-how in addition to theoretical and methodical knowledge. This means that you will work within a "living" SAP system and solve complex case studies (approx. 60 hours of practical work within the SAP system per course) and therefore have a chance to use and reinforce theoretical knowledge. All course phases are online enabling you to work at your own pace from home. We will provide you for this purpose the required SAPGUI (350MB) as a download. You can do your course work wherever you want and at a time and pace to suit you. It is your choice as to when you want to do your course work: during the day, in the evening, on weekends... The main thing is that you complete all tasks correctly by the end of the course. The deadline for the winter semester 2009/10 is the 31st March 2010. Tutors will provide intensive and individual support throughout the course, whether it be technical assistance (which happens rarely) or help with the general content. Communication is carried out via email and forum. Tutors will also reply on weekends!
